Paracombe Wines is a family owned, award winning Adelaide Hills winery.
In 1983, in the aftermath of the Ash Wednesday bushfires, the Drogemuller family bought a burnt out old dairy farm and began planting a vineyard on it. High on a plateau with 1.7 billion year old soils, they grow and make wine that honours story and place. Yields are low, vines hand-pruned and every step is taken with care to protect their environment and to be sustainable with nature.
Paracombe make, mature and bottle their wines on site. Driven by heart, their success is collective and made possible by the passion and commitment of the Drogemuller family. They have come a long way since releasing their first wines in 1992 – expanding their vineyards and building a state-of-the-art winery, underground cellars and cellar door.
