This ethereal wine is a one off – a ‘super Reserve’. The 2013 vintage in McLaren Vale produced some excellent Shiraz wines. Barrel tasting of Brick Kiln’s French oak hogsheads revealed three new hogsheads that stood out from the others as exceptional. Brick Kiln selected these three for a separate bottling as The Ingot – a wonderful gold brick from Brick Kiln.
